A light year is a distance (length). It's the distance that
light travels through vacuum in one year.
I just thought of a kind of an analogy:
One "man-hour" is not a measurement of people (man) or of time (hour).
It's a unit of work accomplished ... the amount of a job that one man
gets done in one hour .
Similarly, the "light-year" is not a unit of brightness (light) or of time (year).
It's a unit of distance ... the distance covered at light-speed in one year.
Lightyears. The distance between the Sun and Earth is 1.49 lightyears (149 000 000 km)

Length is measured in time. So, you are increasing the time of the workout.
The three fundamental quantities are length, mass, and time. Length is typically measured using a ruler or tape measure, mass is measured using a scale, and time is measured using a clock or stopwatch. Each of these quantities has specific units of measurement such as meters for length, kilograms for mass, and seconds for time.
Time has no length, width or thickness.

The length, width, or height of a solid figure is measured in units of length. The area of the figure's outside surfaces is measured in squared units of length. The volume of space filled by the figure is measured in cubed units of length. The mass of the figure is measured in units of mass. The weight of the object is measured in units of force. The age of the figure is measured in units of time. etc.
kilometers (km) are a measurement of length. Length cannot be measured by time unless there is an object moving.
Length is the distance between the positions of the ends of an object measured at the same time.
Usually in america cars are measured in inches but any measurement will work as they're convertable. Just stay away from the measurements like lightyears and parsecs. Your car isn't quite THAT long. In Europe it is more common to find cars lengths measured in centimeters or meters.
Since length is measured in meters, and time in seconds, it follows that speed is measured in meters/second.
