Yes, but it depends on the situation. A bear is more dangerous when it is wounded, hungry, and sees a human as a potential meal. A bear is also very dangerous when you surprise it, even if it's by accident. A bear is also dangerous if you don't know how to read its body language when it is tell you to stay away. This applies for lions as well. Lions are also quite dangerous when they've had the taste of human flesh before and will stop at nothing to kill again. They are also dangerous because they are adept killing machines and will hunt other animals down even if they have just recently killed one. Finally, lions are dangerous when they see humans as something that is impeding on their territory an feel they have to defend it against these bipeds.

All in all, both bears and lions are dangerous if people do not respect them nor understand their body language.

It varies on the tiger species and bear species.

It is said that bengal tigers are the most aggressive and largest species of tiger. Sumatran tigers also have a ferocious temper. They are man-eaters. The siberian tiger is not much of a man-eater and is less aggressive.

Sloth bears are very vicious and attacks on humans are fatal. Their extremely long claws can cause serious injuries or death. Female sloth bears can be very vicious when protecting their cubs. Male sloth bears are also very aggressive when protecting its territory.

The sun bear is known to attack people.

Black bears are unpredictable and have killed people many times before.

Brown bears, grizzly bears, and polar bears have killed people.

Can a lion eat a jaguar?

Yes. Lions are pack hunters and are less deadly on their own. A male Lion can have 50-100% more body mass than a Jaguar. According to many sources the Jaguar is the 2nd strongest big cat and has the strongest bite. The Jaguar is also not as aggressive as the Lion. No. The above answer is absolute nonsense. Lions weigh 250+ lbs whilst a Jaguars range 100 - 150 lbs (roughly). The idea that this species is the world's second 'strongest' cat it lunacy; how do you measure 'strength'? Tigers are also substantially bigger heavier and stronger than both Lions and Jaguars. The other crucial factor is that Lions and Jaguars have entirely separated world distributions Jaguars being limited to South and Central America and Lions in Africa and a single relict population in India's Gir Forest. Jaguars can't attack Lions because they never come into contact with them.

What do lions and tigers have in common?

On a very basic level, lions and tigers are both felines. They are "big cats", two of the four large species within the genus Panthera, sitting alongside the leopard and the jaguar. Both are vulnerable species hunted for their pelts. However, lions have a yellowish fur whereas tigers have very distinct stripes on an orange background. Their face shapes are similar, but male lions have a mane while female lionesses stay bare.Tigers are the heaviest feline, and lions are the second-heaviest of the two. They are found mostly in Asia, including the Indian subcontinent. Lions are found in Africa and India.Lionesses are recognized as the main hunters for their packs. Lions go about in groups, but tigers prefer to stay alone. The main diet for lions are wildebeest and zebras. Tigers are known to attack leopards, and old tigers that cannot catch their have even turned into maneaters on occasion. Tigers have killed more people than any other cat. Though they do possess frighteningly sharp teeth, both tigers and lions typically kill their prey using methods of strangulation, clamping down on its neck until it dies. Their relationships with humans are also similar. Lions and tigers are members of the Big Five of game animal hunting, in Africa and Asia, respectively. They are the five most difficult (and dangerous) animals to hunt on foot. Traditionally, 12 subspecies of lions are recognized, and nine for tigers (3 of which are extinct). Only 8 of the 12 lion subspecies exist today.Lions and tigers can be interbred, along with jaguars and leopards. A male lion with a female tiger is a liger, and a female lion with a male tiger is a less commonly seen tigon. Both lions and tigers have a recessive gene that can produce a 'white' version of their species, with either very pale pelts or white pelts with black stripes.

It depends on where you are. If you are in a forest, the Tiger is more dangerous because Lions don't live in Forests, they live in Deserts, where you most likely will not see a tiger. Overall, I think they are tied, Because tigers are stronger, but lions hunt in prides.
