Yes, although it always depends on the temper, and such, of the animals. So not all llamas will graze with horses and vice versa.

Llamas are considered animals. To get more detailed, llamas are relatives of the alpaca. Of course, in my opinion llamas are better than alpacas.
When Charles Hugo III migrated from Europe to the U.S., No one's sure what year it was, but it's believed the American Indians were the first to find the Llama. The llamas apparently followed the American Indians to Texas somehow..
