Macaws can be very friendly if they are tamed but compared to other pets macaws bond most with one person because in the nature they are monogamous for life, They are very intelligent animals but unfortunetly many people get them as pets but dont respect their needs. They need much attention if they dont get that they can develop feather plugging or other behavior problems.
