(Online Magic 8 balls) They are programmed by the words in your question to create an answer that may or may not be what you want to hear. People believe they are real because some of the questions asked and answered yes may happen in the future and they are not ready to think it was just a coincidence. Some of them may be real but they are only the ones that are made in real life (ones you can hold) by psychics or people interested in Witchcraft or druidry. It may or may not be real but we're all just guessing... Aren't we?
