Male and female ferrets tend to cost the same.
The black footed ferret male is always bigger than the female, their coloring is the same.
They can get along, but they don't get along as well as two male ferrets. Female ferrets, after they get spayed, are much more territorial than before they get spayed. If you are thinking of getting two ferrets, I suggest getting one male and one female. Of course, you should get them spayed and neutered, first.
Some male ferrets tend to be more laid back than females. But being reckless is a trait that's in most ferrets. from another contributor: In my experiences, all ferrets have different personalities! I had a female, and she would dive head first into the pool, and swim underwater, and had a male ferret that just swam on the surface. Each ferret is different, embrace each and every one of their traits!
Domestic male ferrets are seasonal breeders and are sexually active between December and July. Females are polyestrous and have more than one estrous cycle between March and August. Male ferrets technically don't have periods, they become sexually active certain times of the year.
A female frog has a bigger body.
No. The female kiwi is larger than the male.
Because female is intelligent more than male and female is olso kind.
Female ferrets need to be neutered to prevent them from developing aplastic anaemia, an unpleasant and usually fatal condition suffered by female ferrets who don't mate. It can also be prevented by allowing them to mate with a vasectomised male (as opposed to a neutered male), but these can be hard to find. Another way is with a "Jill jab," a hormone injection administered by a veterinary surgeon. There is some evidence that the Jill jab is the best way as it's less likely to lead to health complications than neutering. Male ferrets need to be neutered because if they're not, during mating season they become very stinky sex pests.
yes they could. actually a male ferret and another ferret of its gender would be territorial and fight, so getting a female ferret would be a good idea, but make sure they are fixed (neutered)
A normal male has both male & female hormones. But male hormones are predominantly higher than female hormones male eunuch female hormones are more than normal giving him female characteristics normal female, both hormones are there but female hormones are predominantly higher than male hormones female eunuchs male hormones are higher than normal.
The most obvious sign - look at the ferret's underside - if you see what looks like a belly button - it's a maleMale ferrets have a 'belly button' :) Actually, many people think that their ferret has a pronounced outie belly button, only to find out it is the male ferret's penis. It actually is in the lower part of the abdomen on the underside of the male ferret, while the female has her vulva much closer to the anus - just a few millimeters away, compared to several centimeters between the penis and anus of the male ferret.A way to determine gender - turn your ferret over on his/her back. A female will have an opening (vulva) directly above the anal opening. For a male look about half way between ribcage and the tail and what can be mistaken for a the "belly button", it's not a belly button, but a penis. Some major physical differences between male and female ferrets, first being size, males always larger that females. Female ferrets usually grow to be 12 -16 inches long, give or take a few for the tail, while male ferrets average a 1 1/2 - 2 feet in length with a heavier build. Another way of telling is by the head shape. Ferrets' heads are wedge, or 'V' shaped, male ferret's head is much wider of an angle than the female - female's noses are more pointed. Male ferrets can be much more odorous than the female due to size and hormones. It's the same with humans, just gotta look more carefully. And females act differently then males.Adult female ferrets are about 3 inches shorter than adult male ferrets. Male ferrets also have longer, thinner noses, and more wide-set ears. The most obvious way to tell is just to look, though. Female ferrets appear to have nothing down there, while male ferrets do.
The difference is that a female has a white bottom and a male does not.
