Well, it depends on the breed, not usually the gender. I have a Long Haired Teddy Bear Hamster female that has never bitten ANYONE while my friend has a Long Haired Teddy Bear Hamster male and he has only bitten once. Dwarf hamsters are known to be very territorial and bite A LOT. Especially two males together.
When i chose my hamster i researched it and i found that males are friendlier than the females. They can only be housed with hamsters from the same litter though.
You can differentiate between male and female Golden hamsters by looking at their anatomy. Males have a more prominent, larger genital opening located closer to the anus, whereas females have a smaller opening, and the distance between the anus and genitals is greater. It is best to consult a veterinarian if you are unsure.
In general, female crocodiles tend to be more aggressive than male crocodiles, particularly when defending their nests and young. This behavior is observed across various species of crocodiles. However, individual temperament can vary among crocodiles regardless of gender.
Male hamsters generally have larger testicles and a visible scent gland on their stomach, while females have a smaller distance between the anus and the urinary opening. Additionally, female hamsters have a vulva, which is not present in males. Behavioral differences can also be observed, such as males being more territorial and prone to fighting.
I have read that a female hamster's hormones kick in every couple of days. This makes them very mean weekly. If I were you I would go with a male. You are much safer on getting a nicer hamster if you get a male. I would recommend a Syrian hamster. They are the nicest of all the hamster breeds. DO NOT keep them in the same cage. Syrian hamsters DO NOT get along with their own breed!!
yes, all of my hamsters that i have owned, the girls have been more aggressive
I am not a hamster expert but i would say that a female would be better because males tend to be more aggressive
All animals are territorial creatures. Hamsters are more aggressive animals when dealing with the same gender. If you have two male or female hamsters in one cage, you are begging for trouble.
Get a female hamster as they look white and cute and the first thing that they are a lot more active than the male russians. They often climb on the treadmill and they keep themselves fit. Also they are less aggressive.
There is a high possibility. If it does get more aggressive, the best thing to do is to separate the two hamsters.

No, there is no difference.
It doesn't really matter but, most people purchase more male hamsters, rather than females. There is no reason, though. They just do!
Male because it has testosterone which make it more agresive
Yes
Personally I think that male hamsters have a nicer temprement and are less teritorial than females. well can you be a bit more clear ?
yes, much more aggressive.
