The term organic chemicals is still not clear to this day as it is personally opinions what is classed as organic. A definition that is most commonly used is a compound which is based on carbon however this does not include carbonates, oxides, and carbides.

Minarals are Inorganic therefore they are not classed a organic as they do not react with carbon atoms to form complex molecules.
