It is public good becuase children esspecially and adults can play and excerzise , or need the outdoors to relax.In addition, friends and family need these spaces for group sports or activities.
Public parks are quasi public goods because although they are non-excludable but they are rivalrous. For e.g a park can accomondate x amount of people. If more than x people come to the park one day then it becomes rivalrous as more than x people can not use the park hence it is a quasi public good.
If by a "public good" you mean something that is of benefit to the general public, then inexpensive access to an amazing portion of nature, that has been preserved for well over a century, is most definitely a public good.
