Im afraid that you have to work your way up the ranks in nursing, especially if you are hospital based, you work from junior staff nurse up to sister/charge nurse status and can apply for other jobs along the way, dependant on courses acheived. Health visiting, midwifery, and nurse practioner courses are available at uni, dependant on what area you want to specialise in.
