Some parts will interchange, some will not. 1996 was the first year of an updated emissions system, so most sensors, the engine computer, and the catalytic converter are different.
There are no 92 V-6's... V-6's were only in the XJ for early/mid 80's & replace by the 4.0L inline 6 cylinder in 1987. Renix controlled from 1987 - 1990 /91 HO engines from 1991 up. (Various head designs but overall the same. Most parts interchange.)
five and a quarter
It uses ATF
yes NO, The 89 uses a speedometer cable where the 92 is electronic.
The Grand Cherokee did not exist until the 1993 model year.
I bought a 92 Jeep Laredo and found it had a 1994 jeep engine in it.
When ever you look up a car part, it shows the part's name followed by a year range. The year range means they used the exact same part in any Jeep Cherokee made between that time period. When I looked up "1993 Jeep Cherokee rotor", the year range is 92 - 95; therefore, a 93 and a 96 are different in at least one way.
as far as i am aware they should do tere the same hemi mote from 92 till 97
probably crank sensor, they are famous for that
replace the radiator correct, the radiator is junk.
