Are pekingese dogs good with kids?

Yes I have had a female pekingese and I have one right now. They love play with children chase them, play with children. They love to be cuddled by children or anybody who will give them attention. They have to be raised with children though if you are going to get one i would make sure you get a puppy so it can adapt to your family as every family is different. We have four children so we have a very busy household.

If you meet the dog and a cat when they are young almost any dog will accept cats bit if the dog is older it mostly depends on its personality and not the breed unless you buy a hunting breed or even a terrier

They are small lap dogs that will want to be with you all the time! They love playing with other dogs (even big ones). Even though they're small, they make good guard dogs and alarm systems! They bond with their owners very quickly. You have to groom them every other day, whether it's brushing them, bathing them, cleaning ears, noses, or trimming nails. All in all they're GREAT DOGS! I love mine so much!

in my opinion... the pekingese is a cute dog but not really the cutest one for me, i really think it is the Yorkshire terrier, the pomerian or the spitz breeds.
