No. THey are not allowed to. Just because it is part of their religion does not make it legal for them to do so. In California it is legal to smoke it only if you are the person growing it for yourself. You are not allowed to sell it.

It is used for only people who have medical marijuana cards. The marijuana is grown commercially. This drug can be prescribed by a doctor legally. You can smoke it legally then because it is medical marijuana. But only if your doctor prescribes it.

No need. They could legalize if they want to and know if they don't people will use it that way anyway-many now legally taking advantage of insufficient safeguards with new law

same-sex marriage has no negative impact on any religion or belief. If you practice a religion that forbids same-sex marriage, you simple do not marry someone of the same sex (regardless of whether other gay people are legally marrying or not)

Good question! There are some pot growers, run by the government, that grow pot plants to produce the drug. I do know some people who smoke it legally, but still buy it from illegal sellers.
