well yes piercings do tend to hurt..
it really depends on your pain tolerence.. for example if you were to get your tongue pierced it wouldn't hurt when you get it pierced but you would feel pain after it and wouldn't be able to eat for a few days.. the reason piercings hurt is because a foreign object has entereed your skin and your body has to get used to it being there.. it does go red and puss's but that's only the healing.. but it does hurt.. but other than that piercings are a awesome thing to have. x (=
