On average, yes. However, it is all up to the individual dog and pig. Pigs that are just bred for food in farms will obviously be less intelligent than a domestic dog for a pet.
Pigs are generally regarded as being more intelligent than chickens. Pigs learn to work latches to get out of pens and are seen to be smarter than many dogs. Chickens work mainly on instinct and are slow students compared to other birds such as crows and parrots.

They are smarter than humans
Train the dog and teach it tricks. Then you can say that it is alot smarter than a smart dog.
I actually think a pig is smarter because on tv I saw a pig that played dead to attract people then led the people to its owner who was having a heart attack.
he was smarter than a pig but dumber than a cow.
Depends on what pig. Some are very smart but others are not. But my asumption is yes they are smarter then the average pig.
It depends what type of dog it is and how old the ape and dog is
a cat isnt smarter then a dog. a dog has 18 billion neurons while a cat only has 7 billion neurons
A dog's nose is better than a pig's becuase a dog's nose is 1,000 to 10,000 times better than a human's but a pig's isn't much better. In conclusion a dog's nose has a higher sense of smell, therefore, it is better.
You didn't state either the age or the breed of dog, but in most cases a dog would be smarter than a two year old person. Two year olds are really not very smart, in general (although some are smarter than others).
