the evilness of pirates is played down in pirates of the carribean but they do throw in the occasional comment regarding the true nature of pirates, but the true attitude is probably best pesented by barbosas crew on the black pearl in the first movie, especially when they first begin to raid port Royale. Disney played pirates as better people. did this just so you could have the very loveably CAPTAIN jack sparrow, who unfortunatley, never could have been as fanastic as presented in POC
