∙ 17y agoYes this can happen your upcoming period can feel like early pregnancy, your stomach can become hard, upset, cramped, ect. Early pregnancy will very rarely be noticed until you miss you period. But this question is tricky because these symptoms can be several different things.

∙ 17y agoHello there. Some pregnant women, before they know for certain they are pregnant, experience "bad" PMS symptoms. Period symptoms can be a indication of pregnancy if the period doesn't arrive after a few days. If this happens, do a pregnancy test.

∙ 15y agoYour symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. ∙ 12y agoAlthough you may have heard of women that had "periods" during pregnancy, the truth is you cannot be pregnant and have a period at the same time. Once a woman conceives her body starts producing hCG and her menstrual cycle stops. This is not to say that a woman cannot have bleeding that resembles a period when she is pregnant, but the bleeding is not actually a period. This can be confusing for some and this is why you may know someone that claims to have had a period while she was pregnant.
During early pregnancy, it is not uncommon for a woman to have bleeding or spotting. This bleeding can sometimes be mistaken for a period. Often early pregnancy bleeding occurs around the same time a woman anticipates having her period so this can add to the confusion

A period during pregnancy is not hereditary however it is never a normal period. It's simply a light period or vaginal bleeding. Pregnancy symptoms are not hereditary. Every woman will experience different pregnancy symptoms and the same woman may have different symptoms in different pregnancies. There are things that go on during pregnancy which can be symptomatic and hereditary, but these are separate from the symptoms which indicate pregnancy.
Every woman is different. So are her experiences of pregnancy. Not every woman has the same symptoms or even the same symptoms from one pregnancy to the next.

Yes it can be or a sign your soap is irritating your nipples or bra is rubbing against your nipples, etc.
Things can get pretty muddled, you're dealing with all the same organs and hormones with pregnancy and period. Best to just take a pregnancy test. They are very inexpensive and quite accurate early in your pregnancy.
It's rare this early but some can. Just remember that many pregnancy symptoms are also the same as when you get your period.
Same as for others. Some has none and others can get same as when they get their period like tender breasts, nausea etc.
Yes.. the same signs that usually mean your period is starting can also be signs of early pregnancy, if your period is late, I recommend doing a home pregnancy test. ~pawsalmighty
"Morning sickness" and tender breasts are two classic early symptoms of pregnancy. It can be a possiblity. But, you can not be completely sure unless checked or you miss your next period. Symptoms of pregnancy, are also the same symptoms women can get from just having their period as they are a sign of PMS.
When my husband I tried to conceive one night I was almost positive the next day or so that I was pregnant. I was super tired, super hungry and thirsty, and had slight cramping similar to my period. I actually thought I was getting my period. I swear I even had PMS. On the 2nd day of my missed period (2 wks after conception) I found out I was pregnant.
