Things can get pretty muddled, you're dealing with all the same organs and hormones with pregnancy and period. Best to just take a pregnancy test. They are very inexpensive and quite accurate early in your pregnancy.

How do you if the symptoms you are having are your period or an ectopic pregnancy?

With an ectopic pregnany there will be severe pain on only one side of your lower abdominal. (where your fallopian tube is) Also there could be other symptoms such as fever, vomiting, nausua, and bleeding. But your period has cramping across your abdominal region and an ectopic pregnancy has SEVERE pain in one area, left or right side.

Could lightheadness and pain around your belly button be a sign of pregnancy?

There are many reasons for pain in the breast, but yes, soreness or tenderness can be a symptom of pregnancy. Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. No symptoms with ectopic?

Symptoms of ectopic: It can be hard to tell if you are experiencing an ectopic pregnancy because so many women don't even know they're pregnant at the time they would notice any symptoms of an ectopic. Some symptoms of tubal pregnancy such as a missed menstrual period and vaginal bleeding or spotting two weeks later are similar to the early signs of pregnancy. About 1 in 2 women who are experiencing a tubal pregnancy notice abdominal pain on one side or the other. 1 in 3 women feel light-headed and about 1 in 5 have shoulder pain on the same side as the stomach pain.

Are stomach ache and diarrhoea symptoms of pregnancy?

What you're experiencing could be a sign of pregnancy, but there's a lot more to it. Have you had a period recently or could you be getting ready to start? I know I get diarrhea and sharp stomach pains 2 WEEKS before my period and it lasts until my period is over. It could also be food poisoning or a stomach virus. I strongly encourage you to contact your doctor if pain and diarrhea persist.
