If a pure breed labrador and pure bread golden retriever mate would it have pure puppy is it have PURE labrdor X retreiver puppies?
It means an animal that has been bread by two of theexact same bread. Like with cats, two Siamese tabby cats mate, you get a pure bread kitten. But if one Siamese tabby and one brown tabby mate, the kittens are not pure bread. The animals that are mating have to be the same bread or their not considered pure bread.
To keep the line pure. If a pure bread dog mated with a dog of a different breed, it wouldn't be pure bred anymore. So "puppy mill" breeders keep their dogs together, forcing inbreeding. That results in sometimes severe problems for the dogs--illnesses, susceptibility to certain joint problems as well as genetic problems. It works the same in humans. If anybody have mix breed of lab and when she is pregnant with pure lab so the breed was mix or pure?
You can't, unless the parents are registered themselves, and, if they were rescued from some shelter in the middle of nowhere, you have no idea. Plus, there is no point on getting papers on rescued puppies, even if they are purebred; the puppies are most likely poor quality; responsible breeders NEVER dump puppies or puppies parents at animal shelters, rescues or SPCA. Please, don't bother; it won't work, and you don't need to.
YES! The colors are just that-colors! You can have a black lab that might have on or two yellow puppies in the litter or vice versa. The colors are just a luck of the draw, but you have a better chance of having all blacks if you mate two blacks, but it's not uncommon to have yellow labs in the midst of a litter, it's perfectly normal! And they will still be purebred labs.

Metal alloys are used whenever a pure material does not have the desired characteristics. For example, pure gold is beautiful, but relatively soft and does not keep its shape well. A gold alloy is just as pretty, but is hard enough to resist dents. Iron is hard, but rusts quickly. Steel, an alloy of iron, carbon and other metals, is harder and more durable.
