Yes, but i would recommend one that you can handle, and ask to hold it before your purchase and ask the breed of the rabbit, and see if it likes you!
A rabbit is an excellent pet. Be sure to get one that is appropriate for child's size and check out the temperament. All rabbits will scratch when scared so the trick is to gain your pet's confidence and NEVER drop your bunny. I recommend Havanas or Holland Lops for small children, just about any breed will work for older children as long as rabbit has a good temperament. You will only know this by trusting your rabbit raiser and observing rabbit BEFORE you buy.
i think mini lops make good pets because they don't get too big and my two are super friendly
They are friendly and smaller than some other rabbits so they are easier to hold and handle. They are especially good pets for children.
I own a number of rabbits myself, so I can help answer your question, hopefully.
Rabbits
Rabbits can be considered both pets and livestock. Some people keep rabbits as pets for companionship, while others raise them as livestock for food production or fiber (such as Angora rabbits for their wool). The categorization depends on how the rabbits are kept and the purpose for which they are raised.
Lionhead rabbits make good pets for children but can be very mean if you pick them up after they reach about six months old. Sometimes they can be a bit snappy and may nibble on you for protection. Pick one that is calm, that one will be the best!
Not always, New Zealand rabbits were bred for fur and meat. This rabbit is a good pet for experienced rabbit owners. Beginners should get gentle rabbits like the Dutch, Netherland Dwarf, or English Lop.
jack rabbits can be very aggressive, so I highly recommend a pet store rabbit or a guinea pig.

Yes, Angora rabbits can make good pets for families seeking a fluffy and affectionate companion due to their soft fur and friendly nature. However, they require regular grooming and care to maintain their coat and health.
Well, it's made for preteens and probably a little older or younger (probably 8 at age) so yes it would be good.
Some do, some don't. Islam does not forbid the keeping of pets.
