No, rabbits ARE hard to take care of because:
They are curious. Curiosity may lead them to running away, or to getting in dangerous situations (like biting electrical wires). A rabbit's habitat has to be closely monitored to make sure it's safe for the bunny.
Rabbits are also very social, which means they need a lot of attention and companionship. It can help to "bond" two or more rabbits together so that they can all be friends, but even so they need their humans to spend time with them every day.
Rabbits are also prey animals, which makes them prone to nervousness and stress. This is another reason why a rabbit's habitat has to be considered in detail, so that it won't be subjected to stress.
Being prey animals, rabbits also try to hide their illnesses and injuries. Often, when people notice their rabbit is sick, it's too late. This means that, as a rabbit owner, you have to learn about the signs and symptoms of rabbit illnesses and injuries, and you have to observe your rabbit daily to make sure he's healthy and happy. If you notice any signs of ill-health, you need to be ready to bring the rabbit to a vet.
Rabbit vets and supplies can be hard to find because they're not as common as those for cats/dogs. Rabbits are VERY different from cats/dogs, and vets have accidentally killed rabbits by treating them like a cat or dog, so you have to find a vet who is experienced and knowledgable in rabbit care and behaviour.

They are not hard to take care of.:)
well any animal can be a little bit of a pain and hard to take care of so i would say yes it is hard to take care of.
sometimes they are hard to take care of. i know because i have my own.
Not hard after you get the hang of it!!
Chewing the bark from trees whittles them down a bit.
Let the mother rabbit take care of everything. She knows what to do.
I own a number of rabbits myself, so I can help answer your question, hopefully.
Aside from checking to make sure there are no dead babies you should leave the mother to take care of the newborn babies.
rabbits can only live up 12 years
Totally! My friend has a rabbit, I take care of it (easy), and it is very fuzzy!
It depends on the child's maturity and their patience. :)
