yes they are...they are super smart and mine knows when im not feeling well, or my period is about to start.....ive had 2 lorikeets in my life, green naped lorys... and they both were very in tune with me,,,both would act act when i wasnt feeling well...it would amplify my pain....so that part isnot good! they are bright birds though xo Noelle Leanne
