Yes, Rottweilers do have the potential to be great pets. I have a two year old rott myself and she is just a love bucket waiting to crawl into your lap (yes my 80 pound dog thinks she is a lapdog). Like with any other dog, you have to bring up your dog right to make it a good pet. Make sure to socialize your animals with lots of people and other animals. Start obedience training early, before the dog it too big to handle. use a system of positive reinforcement so your dog is not scared of you. You want your dog to respect you, not be scared. A scared dog is a high risk dog.
Yes, in most cases if a rottweiler is raised in a good and loving environment they will be good dogs.
There are lots of good Rottweiler breeders in Germany. A kennel club accredited breeder is good reliable source.
The Rottweiler breed originated in Germany. It was developed in the town of Rottweil, where the dogs were used for herding livestock and pulling carts. Their history dates back to the Roman Empire, where they were employed as working dogs. Today, they are recognized worldwide and are popular as both working dogs and family pets.
They require alot of attention, but are good dogs. they are also protective.
I own a Rottweiler and she is great with my other dog. I also have no issues with her being out with other dogs in a dog park or at the beach. One of her favorite "friends" is a Chihuahua....so size doesn't matter to her either.
No .... A Rottweiler Will Not Attack His Master .... They Are Guard Dogs .... They Protect You Not Attack You
nothing it just comes like that, no 2 dogs make a rottweiler
Rottweiler's don't have many enemies except for other dogs. if your Rottweiler has a problem with another dog it will not stop barking
yes they can be good pets . mainly used for hunting though
Rottweiler,rabbit,
No. There are of course crossbreeds, but there is only one 'breed' - Rottweiler.
I would seek veterinary advise, maybe their is an underlying issue to do with your dogs health.
