The pinch pleat curtains and drapes require the use of a hanger, which is inserted into the top section between the folds of each pleat. This style is most commonly found in drapes, but can also be used in creating panels as well. The pocket style is the most popular type of curtain because it is the easiest to hang. This top hem comes as an open ended pocket you simply slide onto the appropriate type of rod. This particular design is also more versatile in the ways you can use it to create various effects for a window. These curtains are available in sets that can be used to create a cafe style design or a romantic Priscilla style. The cafe design usually includes two rods, but can be used in combination with a valance, which would make the entire design using three rods. The basic layout has one rod going across the center or mid-section of your window with the other rod placed at the top.
