It depends on what you want to do or what you're most interested in. The Sea Cadets do lots of things as does the other Cadet Corps. Although, Sea Cadets specialises in ships, Army Cadets in guns and combat and Air Cadets with aircrafts and mechanics. So if you're not a particularly athletic person you could always join the Sea or Air Cadets. Or if you love adventure you could always join Army or Sea Cadets.
Sea Cadets - 1978 was released on: USA: December 1978 (Washington, D.C.)
yes they are?
Nope - you get to pick one, not two or three.
you can join junior sea cadets at 11. you can join air and army cadets when you're 13
Sea cadets have many functions the do activities such as sailing, power boating and navigation to build their confidence on sea. The are also involved with public safety and rescue services.
i am a sea cadet my self, i have been in the sea cadets for 4 years now, and the connection that the sea cadets have with the navy is that they follow the rules of the navy, like our orders, and rules, and dress codes. another thing that they have in common, is that they have the same uniform, and the same way we are meant to wear it.
Girl Scouts in the US in grades 6 to 8 are called Girl Scout Cadettes. There are other types of Cadets, such as an Air Force Academy Cadet, and yes, girls may be that kind of cadet also. Yes, Girls can be in cadets, for instance: Air Cadets, Army Cadets, Marine Cadets, Sea/Navy Cadets or cadets which are non-military such as Girl Scouts etc.
This would depend on what you think, this is a personal opinion question. however people like The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles did say "Air Cadets is the Biggest and best Organisation out of all the cadets" But yet again it's opinion Well being a corporal in army cadets but my opinion would be to pick army cadets but air cadets are just as good as army cadets with the bonus that air cadets get the chance to fly helicopters!
Air cadets is definitely the best. You get to learn how to fly planes and go up in Cessnas and gliders. And the uniforms are pretty good too.
The Young Marines or the Sea cadets are like JROTC.
Depends upon which country you are talking about. As far as I know, in the U.K there are no fitness requirements as such to join either the air cadets, army cadets or the sea cadets, however a basic standard of fitness is expected to participate in physical activities.
Air Cadets is actually lots of fun. They pretty do what Army Cadets and Sea Cadets do as well. They shoot, they fly, they glide, but either way all three organizations would have a biased opinion of which one is better.
