Not necessarily. "Downers" is vernacular -- slang -- and as such isn't very specific. I've heard sedatives, hynotics, narcotics and antihitimines all called downers (and pot too, which is pharmacoloigcally a stimulant) or upper. Even the term "sedative" doesn't really explain how the drug functions; only the visibile, apparent effects. So, Downers are any drug that manys you feel relaxed, tired, fatigued, slowed-down, etc. regardless of mechanism. They can be any kind of drug, including non-depressants that just appear to be a depressent. A sedative must, by definition, sedate someone, but is stil a general term.
The body tends to develop tolerance for CNS depressants, and larger doses are needed to achieve the same effects.
Generally ecstasy keeps you awake. It is designed for raves and specific types of parties. Ambien is a sleep aid. It makes you go to sleep. Much like mixing alcohol and anti-depressants, putting uppers AND downers into your body is often lethal. The same situation applies here. Putting a sleep aid into your body along with something that keeps you up can be nothing but trouble for your body..

There's no "treatment" for homosexuality, just as there's no "treatment" for heterosexuality. Anti-depressants are used to treat clinical depression (which is not the same thing as just "feeling sad.") Of course, homosexual people can be clinically depressed, just like heterosexual people.
Same Kind of Different as Me was created in 2006.
If it is all-wheel drive, then yes! HA! Drive tires must all be the same tread depth. Flatten one, replace 4. Oh, the downers of all-wheel drive!
Cells of the same kind make a tissue.
Taking two depressants together can create a synergistic effect, meaning their combined impact may be more potent than the sum of their individual effects. This can result in a heightened level of sedation or respiratory depression, potentially making it equivalent to taking a much stronger dose of a single depressant. This increased risk can lead to dangerous side effects, including overdose and impaired cognitive and motor functions. Therefore, combining depressants is highly discouraged without medical supervision.
people engaged in same kind of business or same kind of activities must have the same objectives in a single plan.
