In searching for a part for an older Rival slicer, I found that www.abtecparts.com listed many of the parts. Some, including the one I was seeking, were marked "no longer available" but did show the part picture. Other parts were available and could be ordered.
First of all, unplug the slicer. Get gloves, and take off the blade. Take apart the slicer parts, and use a cloth or sanitation cloth to clean the insides of the head.

The Chevrolet small block is affordable, versatile, plentiful, stock parts and performance parts are easily available. That would be a good choice IMO.
Commercial, as well as home meat slicers can be sanitized with diluted bleach, but it must be disassembled to do so. Being as bleach is not an edible entity, the slicer parts must be rinsed thoroughly in hot water.
The best thing to do would be to call the manufacturer and give then the item number of your appliance.
lallin@juno.com has some newly manufactured, functional replacement parts for Rival slicers; such as blade washer and rubber suction cup feet. Sometimes has old slicers being parted out to supply donor parts.
With the advent of the World Wide Web, almost everything is now available at the click of a mouse! If you are looking for custom or aftermarket parts for your Chevy Beretta, I suggest logging on to the Internet and finding the best deals available. Since it's such a competitive market, you are likely to get some great offers on car parts of your choice. In fact, aftermarket car parts supplier 1aauto.com claim that their parts are often available at 1/3rd of the dealer price. I think that's a good place to start searching for your Chevrolet aftermarket parts.
