Its bad for you if you "keep in a fart". ---- To add to that answer, the average person releases 7 Liters of gas per day....to put that into perspective -- there are about 3.8 liters per 1 gallon (US)....so that's basically 2 gallons of gas per day. If you feel that it is a problem, or if is causing any discomfort or embarassment, there are medications available called anti-flatulents that can help you out. Many are available over the counter (such as Beano or Lactaid), or of course you can speak to your healthcare provider to explore more options.
