Ok guys there seems to a common misconception about his predictions. We are unable to tell if his predictions were correct because his predictions were completely vague. Nostradamus more than likely figured that something would happen at one point in time and if he predicted it in any vague sentence, than he would credited as a prophet. For example, people believed that he predicted the attacks on September 11th after he said, "A tower will engulf in fire" or something like that translated (thats at least what I translated it to). As you may notice, that statement is very vague and not specific. That statement could cover any tower fire, building fire, tragic fire event, etc... from his time period to ours. His predictions are souly based on ones interpretations , and no scientific fact.
According to the biography of Nostradamus in Who2 Biography, "there is no real proof that Nostradamus could accurately predict the future, and many of the circulating 'predictions' attributed to Nostradamus were not even written by him at all."

Only when they are read after the event and the words are adapted to suit the known events.
It has never been possible to read any of the verses and say, in advance, "that verse means that (.....) is going to happen" and then sit back and watch (....) happen as 'predicted'.
All of them. They all came true, and do so every generation. Often times, every year.
That's because his predictions were so vague, so couched in nebulous terms, that they can mean anything to any body. And have. And do.
He predicted a conqueror. And 200 years ago this was "known" to be Napoleon. 100 years ago it was Bismarck. 75 years ago it was Hitler. Sadly, even small time dictator Saddam Hussein got roped in and was said to have been "predicted" by the all seeing Nostradamus.
To hear his followers, I'm just a cynic, and the "Quatrains" as they are called clearly point to whoever they say. And do so in meticulous and undebatable detail. However, these same people cannot explain why if the predictions are so clear and obvious, why no one ever mentions them in advance.
Such as the supposed predicting of 9/11. If that prediction was as clear as the followers of Nostradamus claim, then one wonders why one of them didn't go there that day, pull the fire alarm that morning, and thus save several thousand lives.
As you have gathered from the above, the real answer is that none of his predictions have ever come true.
No.
His 'predictions' are so vague and ambiguous many can be twisted in such a way by supporters to show almost anything they wish.
Not all of them. But some yes.
