Are sports and games concrete or abstract?

As much as we love our sports and our games, they are abstractions. We cannot see them, hear them, touch them, taste them, or smell them. They are not material objects, they are activities governed by rules. Activities and rules are abstract, not concrete. However, they consist of equipment we use to play them that is definitely concrete. They take place in buildings such as arenas, stadiums, and gymnasiums and buildings are concrete objects that we can perceive with our senses. However, these abstractions make for great entertainment.
