WWI Tanks could deflect gunfire and small explosives. Driving over small fire would not harm them but if the vehicle itself were on fire damage would be caused.

Yes. Most tanks are fire proof due to the tough and heavy armor on them for protection from frags, guns, or explosions. It does not matter the size and type of the tank.
