Both tarsiers and aye-ayes are primates, so they are distantly related. However, tarsiers are a type of lemur, whereas tarsiers are more closely related to monkeys and apes. Their last common ancestor lived more than 60 million years ago.
The Philippine tarsier is a nocturnal arboreal primate. Relatives of the Philippine tarsier are the Bornean tarsier of Borneo and Sumatra, and Dian's tarsier of Indonesia.

Tagalog translation of tarsier: tarsier
Perhaps you are thinking of the Aye-Aye? Which is a nocturnal Lemur that has large eyes and large ears, not to mention their long fingers. They resemble bats, and to me are not to nicest looking animals. There is also the Tarsier which is a very small primate with very, very, large eyes. It is also part of the lemur family, though. Another would be the African Bush-Baby. Which strongly resembles an Aye-Aye.
