Yes they, The term "Thangal" is a honorific title used by Malayalam speaking people in calling higher caste people. There are Hindu Thangals or a warrior class of Brahmins. It generally means respected person. The descendants of the Prohphet are through his daughter Fatima and his Son in Law/Cousin Ali Ibn Abi Talib. Todays thangals/syeds/sharifs trace their ancestors through either Hassan or Hussein (both sons of Fatima and Ali).
This was done out of respect and reverence.
aous is a great ruler of the middle east....he was a really honest and kind hearted man...he helped the prophet mohammed in his conquest....
By the way they are not called 'Islams' they are called Muslims .There is not really a leader for Muslims. Muslims' God is called Allah which is Arabic for God. Prophet Mohammed is the last prophet and is the leader of the prophets. He is a wonderful role-model to all Muslims. Their book (when i say this i mean religious book, like the Bible) is called the Qur'an which is like a guide sent from Allah to Prophet Mohammed.
he was not a Muslim .. because he died before Mohammed became a prophethe was (mushrek)Islam is the best religion..plz..discover it by trustful book , people , websitesThank you, but what was his belief? Was he a Christian, Pagan, Jew? Some say that Mohammed was brought up with Jews, and that Islam is really the perfection of Judaism. But what IS known about Mohammed's Grandfather - or where can I find out?
No, Mohammed specifically renounced his father/son relationship with Zaid in 627. He taught that children did not really belong to their adoptive parents but only to their biological families. Mohammed remained on friendly terms with Zaid until the latter's death in 629, but Zaid was never again counted as his son. Mohammed had three biological sons (Qasim, Abdullah and Ibrahim) who all died in infancy. They were the only sons whom Mohammed acknowledged. That is why it was later said, "Mohammed is not the father of any man."
Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is not God, Allah is. Prophet Muhammad was the last prophet in this world and no more prophets came after him. His book, The Holy Quran was the last holy book in this world, there were, are or will be any more holy books. There were, are or will be NO more prophets. Prophet Muhammad was and still is an example to all Muslims. He used to pray for his enemies. Prophet Muhammad is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY important.
Yes there are false prophets, people who claim to be prophets, when they are really not sent or called by God.
no, god told them the future
It is unclear what is meant by "philosophy of Islam", since Islamic philosophy did not really engage Shiite Islam; it was primarily done by Sunni Muslims. If the question is asking about religious differences, the key really lies in successorship to the Prophet Mohammed, both in his earthly domains (i.e. the ruler of the Islamic State) and his spiritual qualities (i.e. his perfection as a person and instrument of God). The Sunnis believe that revelation ended with Mohammed and that the Islamic States should be ruled by qualified individuals chosen in any viable mechanism. The Shiites believe that revelation continued after Mohammed through the lips of the Infallible Imams (of which there were 5, 7, 11, or 12, depending on which form of Shiite Islam a person practices) and that only those appointed by God from Mohammed's family have the right to rule Islamic States.
Buddha saw the world as it is. Mohammed saw the world as he wished it to be. Jesus saw mankind as he would wish it to be. I can't believe that any of them really had a clue about the afterlife.
because they had a really great organization and Muhammad was a really good prophet
Because he wanted his opponents to know that he was light on his feet, but he could really pack a punch.
