Yes, they are a good shotgun. Many had fine engraving on the receivers. They had three grades of finish. Most were recoil operated, with one trigger. They had a switch that would control which barrel would fire first.

Ithaca created a budget line of double shotguns in 1929 that they marketed under the Western Arms Co name. Most were retailed by Montgomery Wards. Production ended at the beginning of World War II. A 12ga Western Arms (Ithaca) double in excellent shape can bring $400-$450. sales@countrygunsmith.net
