Not sure what kind of adapters ur talking about but if u put spacers on to make the wheels fit then yes the tires will stick out...also depending on the width of the rim an tire.
Not as safe as stock best bet is to check for proper torque often and install properly.
It is not a perfect or propper fit. That being said; It will generally fit onto the studs and can be installed. There are several people running the 5x115 wheels on 5x114.3 vehicles. There is a possibility of vibration and damage to wheel studs and lug nuts. Hubcentric rings should help minimize or eliminate vibration issues.
The kingpin measurements are, but the weight ratings are not.
