If you listen to the song Live Every Second you will realize that they are not goth/emo at all. The whole song is about living every second of your life. The song don't jump explains how kids shouldn't jump to kill themselves and how you shouldn't let memories go. In the end of the song the lead singer Bill Kaulitz says "I'll jump for you" because he doesn't want to see that person kill them self and he'd rather risk his life than have them lose theirs. So that proves my point of how they aren't an emo band because their songs are about living life.
