interesting question. it is like witch came first the chicken or the egg.

i think nurture is technically nature because a mother's natural instinct is to nurture.

but by the basics of the question i think it is nurture because when you are born you can't tell your mother that you want McDonald.

but with nature, you can cry, with tells her that you want something so tecnacally that is communication. so it comes from both. basic communication "crying" is nature

advanced communication "i want mcdonalds" is nurture.

with two animals it would by nature

with two humans it will turn from natural to nurtured. :)

True communication comes from the base that the primary care giver ( usually Mommy ) sets with in the first few months of life. That primary care giver establishes that there are demands for the child- Peekee boo, hand holding, hugs and speech all are demands for interaction. The only natural communication of the child stem from discomfort. Hunger, cold, hot, feeling of dirty diaper are all responded to by crying. One of the only exceptions is the desire to be held.
