You can build a dam on the stream. Once it is built a field will appear where crops will grow
1. Noni bush 2.crops- from aquetduct 3.fish from pond/lake
The Hand of Bloom is a god power you acquire in Virtual Villagers 5, and it costs 150 energy to use. When applied to the ground it will cause a bunch of flowers and mushrooms to suddenly sprout. When applied to the farm it will cause the crops to instantly grow. Either way, it's a great way to stretch food supplies.
it means ether the crops are ready or you have not unlocked farming. Edit by Jay: If you mean on VV Origins and the to-be garden field in the middle-left, it's because only builders continue to water the field. Villagers with other occupations only water it once; you have to drag them onto the field and have them walk to the lagoon and back if you want them to do it again.
because they care for their home and the environment and it helps them grow their crops.
The first thing you do is fish in the ocean in the west. Make sure you have someone working on research. Sooner or later, the ocean will "run out of fish" (don't ask me why!) and your villagers will refuse to fish from there. Then, use the tech points your researcher(s) has accumulated to by the second level of farming (it costs 5000 tech points). Now your villagers can harvest coconuts from the palm trees in the north west corner. Eventually, your villagers will also stop harvesting coconuts. Your villagers can also build a dam in the stream in the east. Once they complete it, they will begin to grow crops. This is a steady, if limited, source of food. You can also get food by opening certain bags and crates in the Island Events, but be careful! Some of the bags and crates contain something that can harm your village.
By ralding nearby villages for extra food
The good fortune that befalls the villagers in spring is the arrival of fresh crops, warmer weather, and the opportunity for new beginnings and growth. It represents a time of abundance, renewal, and hope for the future.
Yes, they do. As of 1.8, they can now be seen busy harvesting and planting crops.
Okay to get tech points fast put all the villagers on the research table if you can. Since my ocean has algae, i cant fish, but i still have a supply of coconuts and crops. While the crops are growing, I put all my adult villagers to the research table and i get 7 techpoints every 2-3 seconds and i have 6 adults on the table because my other adults are nursing and the kids can't research, lol. And i got 20,000 techpoints in A DAY. I have around 32000 techpoints and i'm trying to reach to 90,000 for Level 3 farming, and the research thing works, i have 3 master scientists. *Be sure to also have 3 Master Builders, You will need it in the game to open some kind of crate* (: Hope I Helped You! And Good Luck!
You make a scarecrow! what you do is after collecting Engineering level 2, you take an adapted or a master scientist and drag them to the Rocky area, it should say "he/she sees Twisted wood and vines" drop them there and then it should say under action, 'Making a scarecrow.' It takes 2 trips to complete the scarecrow.
They people in the rural villages of west Africa survived by believing in gods that controlled the growth of crops on how well behaved the villagers were to them. This is why they gave sacrifices and pray for these gods in return for good crops.
