It depends which "highway men" you mean. If you mean the Country music supergroup called The Highway Men who were all stars in their own right, not all of them are still alive. They were comprised of Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings. Johnny Cash died around 2006 of diabetic complications. The name came from the Jimmy Webb song that the 4 did together. Highwayman was about a dream involving reincarnation. If you mean the original highway men who were land-based pirates or outlaws, then they pretty much don't exist, since nobody uses stagecoaches anymore, and train heists are very rare. In their place are carjackers and aircraft hijackers.
