friction is that force that opposes motion. for e.g friction between the road and your shoes prevent you from falling when you walk on the road.
Arizona
Because there is a sticky substance when the mud and your flat shoes make contact. And also boots have a little gap at the top which is why they don't stick like flat shoes!
Walking on a slippery road is difficult because of the reduced friction between the surface of the road and the soles of your shoes. Friction is the force that opposes the relative motion of two surfaces in contact, and it helps us maintain stability while walking. When the road is slippery, there is less friction between your shoes and the road surface, making it harder to generate the necessary traction to propel yourself forward without slipping. Additionally, the lack of friction can also cause your shoes to slide out from under you, increasing the risk of falling.

it would stink. We would technically not be able to walk or drive or run ect. If you did manage to get moving you wouldn't be able to stop until you hit something. Pretty much we'd all need hover crafts to get around.
