No this refers to the complex at Giza the three great pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure plus six other small auxiliary pyramids.
There are currently 118 known pyramids in Egypt located in a number of pyramid fields all on the west bank of the River Nile.
The German Egyptologist Karl Richard Lepsius (1810-84) produced the first modern list of pyramids in 1842. He identified 67. A great many more have since been discovered. The location of Pyramid 29 for example, the so-called "Headless Pyramid", was lost for a second time when the structure was buried by desert sands subsequent to Lepsius' survey. It was only rediscovered again during an archaeological dig conducted in 2008.
Many pyramids are in a poor state of preservation merely piles of rubble or buried beneath the desert sands. As archaeological techniques improve Egyptologists are continuing to identify and study previously unknown pyramid structures.
The most recent pyramid to be discovered is that of Queen Sesheshet, mother of 6th Dynasty Pharaoh Teti, located at Saqqara. The discovery was announced by the Egyptian Council of Antiquities, on 11 November 2008.

The Egyptians built they pyramids in different sizes because the wanted to have a little variety. It'd be boring to see the same pyramid in three different places.

The Great Pyramid is the largest of the pyramids and is in Giza. Interred there were the pharaoh Khufu and his third wife, the queen Hentutsen. (Their only son, Khaefra, is buried in the second tallest pyramid.)
It took 14-20 years, for 10,000 workers, a mixture of slaves and free men, to build the great pyramid of King Khufu. Perhaps the same number and time to build the second pyramid. The third Giza pyramid took about 15 years and about 5,000 workers. Smaller pyramids obviously took less time.

Some of the same things about Egypt and Nubia is that they both traded with each other and both mummified their people and put them in coffins. They both also had pyramids. And some of the religion was the same. Good Luck
No, they are quite different shapes. A cylinder is the same shape as a tin can, a pyramid is the same shape as the pyramids in Egypt.
