There are 50 states and each state sets its own requirements, but I know from my own state of VA they are not the same. There is probably an additional requirement in every state that the governor live in the state. Where I live , the governor has to be at least 30 , have lived in the state for at least 5 years and be a US citizen. The age requirement and residency requirement both vary in the different states.

Can a former president become governor or mayor of ANY state the president was covered for all 50 states can he become governor or mayor any of them?

Yes, a former president can run for and become governor or mayor of any state in the U.S., as there are no federal restrictions preventing this. Each state has its own eligibility requirements for these positions, but being a former president does not disqualify someone from holding state or local office. Ultimately, it would depend on the individual's ability to win elections and meet the specific requirements set by the state or municipality.

How does the roles of president and governor differ in at least two ways?

A president is generally the leader of an entire country. A governor is generally the leader of a state. Thus, while a governor has power at the local level, the president has power at the national level.President is a federal job, making him in control of all 50 states as a whole. Governor is a state thing, he is voted for by only his state, and has no affect on states other then his own.
