Are the second battalion the highland light infantry part of the raiding support regiment in Yugoslavia in World War 2?

No they weren't part of the RSR, but they did take part in the Brac raid in early June 1944 as did the RSR. On this job the RSR gave direct support to the Partisans, whereas the HLI had to attack a piece of very high ground which if I remember correctly was being used for reconnaissance by the Germans and so was a threat to the raiding force. A job that the HLI were well qualified to carry out.
Both units were part of Land Forces Adriatic for op's in this theatre and LFA received much of it's tasking from the SOE.

The 54th Infantry Regiment of the United States Army currently only has one active battalion, which is a Basic Combat Training battalion at Fort Benning. It may or not still be an infantry One Station Unit Training outfit - infantry OSUT used to be exclusive to Fort Benning, but some units since have reverted to non-infantry Basic Combat Training. This means they were either a separate battalion assigned to an Army or a Corps. I did find reference to the 208 Field Artillery Group. An artillery regiment or a group were a higher level of command for several battalions. It was more of an administrative organization. However, some of these units were re-organized and re-identified from a regiment to a Battalion.
