I believe there was some history on this that may have disappeared or hushed over time where quite a few Germans claimed to be Jewish to either escape persecution if they participated in the Nazi regime or to just simply not be blamed for what the Nazi regime did to another group of people. Those particular Germans even went so far as to adopt Jewish-like names (although there were a lot of Jewish names that were originally German) and adopting their religion and lifestyle.
this is the signed Nazi flag It is signed by the US soldiers. It even has blood on it.
Yes, there were many Jewish soldiers. Jews have served in nearly every army that they have been permitted to join and often in a greater percentage than their percentage as citizens in that country.

In Jewish tradition, a person is Jewish when their mother is a Jew. However, Nazi Germany had a different definition: if any of your four grandparents was Jewish, by their standards you were also considered a Jew. If you were considered a Jew by the Nazi Germans, then you would be subject to numerous dehumanizing laws as well as the ultimate genocide faced by the Jews of Europe during Nazi power.
The German soldiers stopped Annemarie because they were conducting searches for Jewish people who were being hidden by Danish families. As part of their efforts to enforce Nazi regulations, the soldiers questioned Annemarie and her friend about their activities and intentions. This encounter highlighted the dangers and tensions of the time, as the soldiers were on high alert for any signs of resistance or rebellion against their orders. Annemarie's quick thinking and bravery were crucial in navigating this perilous situation.
When the soldiers question Papa about Ellen and her dark hair, he quickly fabricates a story, claiming that she is his daughter and that her dark hair is inherited from her mother. He knows that any truth about Ellen being Jewish could put them in danger. Papa's quick thinking is a protective measure to keep Ellen safe from the soldiers' suspicions. His actions highlight the tension and fear of the time, as well as the lengths to which he will go to protect her.
There weren't any Jewish towns and it was stormtroopers not soldiers who did it.It was called Kristallnacht which literally means "Crystal Night" or "Glass Night."Read more at the link below.
Any Jew with a tattoo can be buried in a Jewish cemetery. It doesn't matter if it's a Nazi tattoo or Mickey Mouse's face. It's just a myth that Jews with tattoos can't be buried in a Jewish cemetery. This myth arose because there are a few Orthodox cemeteries that will not allow burial of people with tattoos, but these rules are cemetery rules, and not Jewish law.
German soldiers stopped Annemarie on her way to the boat to question her and ensure she wasn't helping Jews escape. They were on high alert for any suspicious activity, particularly regarding the ongoing efforts to smuggle Jewish people out of Nazi-occupied Denmark. Annemarie’s quick thinking and calm demeanor help her navigate the situation without revealing her true mission.
Of course there must have been some cases in ww2, since there were millions of Jews and millions of German soldiers.
