The Maine School of Science and Mathematics is an excellent school. The teachers and administration are engaged and motivated and many of them are alums of MSSM. MSSM continues to be in the top 100 schools in the country for the US News and World report. Because of the small size of the school, it is a community environment of students who are matched in interests and motivation. Independence is highly encouraged and the student is responsible for their own success. Highly recommended.
