It is considered to be unlikely that there is life on Venus. The atmosphere is 96.5% carbon dioxide and 3.5% nitrogen, having little or no oxygen. There are clouds of sulfur dioxide with rain of sulfuric acid, though the acid evaporates before reaching the surface. The temperature is 860 F. So, life as we know it, does not exist on Venus.

However, there are some scientists that theorize that microbial life could exist in the upper, cooler atmosphere, floating on the higher density of the lower atmosphere.
