Sorry, but you have a bit of a contradiction in terms. Western style revolvers are single action, not double.
Yes.
DA revolvers have been and are chambered in 357 magnum as have SA revolvers
Revolvers are not lever action firearms. Sorry- can you rephrase your question? Lever action firearms are most often rifles, rarely shotguns. A very few lever action pistols were made, but not revolvers.
Single action, double action, double action only. There have been automatic revolvers (the Webley-Fosberry) There have been ball-and-cap revolvers, and even one flintlock revolver (did not work well) There have been tip up revolvers, top break revolvers, and swing-out cylinder revolvers. There was one revolver made to shoot triangular bullets, and some to shoot shotgun shells. There have been revolvers with 2, 3, or MANY barrels. There have been 4 shot, 5 shot, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12- or more- shot revolvers. There were revolvers that loaded from the front, the bottom, and the rear. All in all, there are probably several HUNDRED different types of revolvers.
The 5-in-1 is a blank cartridge. It was designed to permit several different firearms- usually single action "Western" revolvers use the same ammo- on a movie set. They were intended for 38-40 and 44-40 rifles and revolvers, and 45 Colt revolvers (5 in 1)
EMF Company produced the Model 1873 Dakota Single Action Revolver. This link says they no longer make it: http://www.emf-company.com/1873-model-single-action-revolver-dakota2.htm
Double Action
Well, yes and no. The traditional "Western" revolver, such as a Colt Peacemaker, was a single action. However, the Colt Lightning and the Thunderer were double action. High Standard also made revolvers that were similar in appearance to the Colt Peacemaker, but were double action. And there must be more. The Starr Double Action .44 black powder cap and ball revolver began production in the late 1850s.
It depends on the caliber and your ability to shoot it.

There are more than two basic types. There are revolvers, semi autos, breach action, bolt action, etc.
