Unfortunately, for $200, there aren't any cameras that are waterproof.
Not all digital cameras are waterproof. When you shop for a digital camera, you must look for one's that say they are waterproof. A store associate can help you if you have a hard time. You can also buy a digital camera that is not waterproof and buy a waterproof case for it.
No several digital cameras are not waterproof. Just a couple drops of water can ruin some cameras. It isn't wise to put a digital camera in the water.
There is a wide variety of waterproof cameras available on the market, that come in various sizes. It is possible to buy a digital waterproof camera that is only slightly bigger than a regular digital camera. More expensive cameras will perform better and take better photographs but do tend to be larger.
All modern digital cameras are colored digital cameras, although many do have a feature that allows you to take black and white pictures instead, if that is what you are looking for.
I prefer film cameras to digital cameras. The pictures look better.
Unfortunately, there are no digital cameras that save directly to CD.
Fuji makes several waterproof cameras. Models include the Fujifilm XP-10 Waterproof Digital Camera and the Fujifilm FinePix Z33WP. Waterproof digital cameras create underwater photos that are vibrant and clear. Many are also heat and freeze-proof for use in extreme temperatures.
Taking pictures or vidios
Kodak makes a waterproof digital camera called the Easy Share Sport C123. It is offered for an economical price and receives the best reviews in it's market by customers. These colorful cameras come in many shades, as is the custom with waterproof cameras. These cameras come with a decent size display measuring in at 2.4 inches, face detection, and takes 12 mega pixel pictures. With a MSRP price of only 79.99 it is one of the most competitive waterproof cameras to find on the market for the price range.
Most of the high-end waterproof digital cameras are extremely expensive and are only useful for taking pictures underwater, meaning they aren't very useful for any other application such as normal picture taking. The cheaper waterproof digital cameras are more in-line with regular digital camera costs but do not produce very clear images. There are waterproof enclosures for almost all normal cameras which allow them to be used underwater and this has two benefits. The first is that you can use an existing camera you already own allowing for a wider range of uses, and the second is that the waterproof enclosures are much cheaper than an entirely new camera. As a SCUBA diver I have seen waterproof digital cameras fail several times from seals which had a slight leak and I personally use an enclosure for my camera for both reliability and even if there is a small leak, they are designed to allow water to pool in the bottom preventing it from damaging the camera.

If a digital camera falls in water, chances are very high that it will get damaged as water will penetrate to the inside. However, there are a few digital cameras that are waterproof and may not be affected.
