This is a very debated issue, but I do not believe so. There are some freshwater jellyfish however. I do believe that ther is such a thing, my biyfriend and I were at the river in Middleton Idaho and found 2-3 dozen of them! Granted they were dead but nobody would have dumped there because we were too off shore for somebody to da that and they were not cooked either
