While there are many people who believe that school uniforms don't do anything to improve the quality of education for children, there are not any large organized groups that stand against them. Currently, the only noteworthy advocates against them are the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in Florida. That said, school uniforms are far from the only cause Florida's ACLU chapter speaks out against.

The thing with school uniform is this ... the kids tend to judges other bast on what they are wearing and that creates a secular groups in side of the school and focus is lost on the education being taught ... the use of uniforms will dramatically cut down on theft of clothing from the student body (no pun in tended) and there for creates a better and safe schooling environment...
